Testamentation
Resolution as Ethical Choice
Degree 0: Pure Hunger
Symbol: The zero—nought—is a mouth, a stoma. Essence: Primal hunger. No narration, only need. Function: The raw drive to survive. Rivalia’s Mechanism: Rivalia keeps its people adnullated—pressed toward nullification. Not merely sensually, but linguistically, artistically, spiritually, and economically. Payslips are calibrated for survival, not life. Each citizen confined to a cell of nullification, sustained just enough to remain useful, never enough to awaken.
Degree 1: The Rush of Numbers
Definition: Fast, panoramic narration—action, data, statistics. Examples: News reports, war chronicles, historical records. Symbolic Function: Desensitizes. Normalizes violence. Flattens emotion. Biblical Echo: Old Testament—events without intimacy. Rivalia’s Spellwork: Floods of propaganda: NEWS, daily papers, textbooks. History rushed to justify endless wars. Archetypes renamed, complexity woven to divide. Students are driven from soul toward nomenclature—names over essence, division over unity.
Degree 2: The Wounded Icon
Definition: Narrative zoomed into the human figure—emotion, pain, symbolic depth. Examples: Jesus as teacher, rebel, healer, sufferer. Symbolic Function: Icons soften or justify Degree 1. Biblical Echo: New Testament—presence with pathos. Rivalia’s Strategy: Icons as islands for castaway souls. Not Degree 0, not Degree 1—but never quite Degree 3. They appear in ads, pop concerts, 120-minute films. A calibrated dosage of humanity—just enough to soothe, never enough to awaken.
Degree 3: The Inner Testament
Definition: Intimate, philosophical testimony—thought fused with blood. Examples: A philosopher’s truth, a poet’s wound. Symbolic Function: Opens the sealed book. Refines the icon into thought. Ritual Charge: The mind becomes sun. The word becomes blade. Rivalia’s Containment: Libraries hold philosophical testaments—woven in scriptic forms, distanced from the masses yet technically accessible. Thought is permitted, but only in hushed corridors, never in the streets.
Degree 3.3: Ultra High Resolution
Definition: Direct, revelatory speech from the soul’s edge. Examples: Prophets, poets, philosophers at their sharpest. Symbolic Function: Each word a blade. Each phrase a vessel of wisdom. Symbol: The vertex of truth—the blade that cuts illusion. Rivalia’s Barrier: This Word seeks the universal root—where we are one. In patterns, numbers, music, blood, nerves—a mysterious Will from which we all derive. A true religion: one that re-ligates, not entangles. Rivalia ensures its citizens never reach this level.
Degree 4: The Emperor
Definition: The one who sees the whole terrain. Function: Designs ladders, pits, handicaps, development routes. Governs resolution itself. Rivalia’s Architects: The governors of Rivalia understand the ladder—and build machinery to keep all below it. They do not climb. They calibrate.
Systems and Degrees of Testamentation
From Data to Revelation: The Degrees of Testamentation as a Journey from Crowd to Consciousness
The Hunger Pits (Degree 0.0) – Primal Conflict
At the base of all experience lies hunger—raw, desperate, unfiltered. The symbol is a stoma devouring another stoma: mouths feeding, suckling, clinging to any vessel that offers nourishment. Zero is not emptiness—it is a mouth, a loop, a circuit. It nullifies all other arguments. In moments of desperation, hunger overrides reason. It silences debate. It becomes the only truth.
Rivalia weaponizes this primal force. It creates war zones not only between nations, but within schools, corporate promotions, and romantic pairings. Hunger becomes a tool of division, a mechanism of control.
Weave 1 and 2 Over the Minds – The Control System
Rivalia’s control system blends two narrative degrees:
Degree 1: Fast, shallow storytelling—data, action, statistics.
Degree 2: Emotional symbols—icons that soften or justify the message.
Together, they convert dogma into data, then add a symbolic figure to make it feel true. The result: sensitivity fades, emotions are redirected, and truth becomes harder to perceive.
Imagine a crowd gazing at Jesus, a leader, a star—any icon meant to represent hope or transcendence. They see the figure but miss the fire in his eyes, unaware of the prophecy stirring beneath his skull. This system is anti-Christ—it is anterior. It shapes perception before truth can even emerge.
Degree 2.1 – Cristo Philosophorum Watching the Crowd
Here, the philosopher-Christ stands apart, observing history and the masses. He sees that the crowd remains trapped in System 1—fast data, no depth. They consume symbols without reflection, stories without soul.
Degree 2.2 – Cristo Philosophorum Meets His Symbolic Twin
In a mirror moment, Cristo sees himself in Dimas—whose name echoes “twin,” like Thomas. This is not literal but symbolic. It’s a mythic recognition: the self glimpsed in another. A moment of etymological and spiritual resonance.
Degree 2.3 – Cristo Philosophorum Refines His Words
Now the philosopher begins to clarify. He doesn’t just speak—he sharpens. His message is honed for deeper resonance, preparing to pierce illusion and awaken thought.
Degree 3 – Refined Art
Here, thought and emotion move in harmony. The qualities are depth, clarity, and beauty. Truth is no longer just spoken—it is felt, shaped, and ritualized. This is the beginning of art as testimony.
Degree 3.3 – The Blade of Thought
This is the highest form of testimony. The voice is direct, sharp, and filled with wisdom. The structure is clear:
1 is the base.
2 is the transition.
3 is the refinement.
3.3 is the sharpened tip.
The thinker doesn’t merely inform—he transforms. Every word is a blade of truth. Every phrase carries wisdom. This is art at its finest: thought turned into ritual, language turned into prophecy.
